On January 26th, the FDA widely endorsed a new proposal to make the COVID-19 vaccination much more like the regular Flu shots. With the beginning of the Omicron-era of the COVID-19 pandemic, the WHO has revised the recommendations for vaccine receivals. They suggest that healthy children and adolescents may not need a new dose, but older people and those at high-risk of grave infection should receive a new dose 6-12 months after their last vaccination.
